In 2002, Trading Post opened its doors to the public for the very first time. With a passion for delivering high quality products, James & Lori Cannon started Trading Post as a specialty foods and crafts store.
Since the very beginning, accessibility was key — we made sure to deliver reasonably priced products so that everyone could enjoy our foods. In fact, we continue to follow this philosophy today!
It was in 2010 when we had our first major renovation. After 8 years of service to the community, we were now fully committed to foods and slowly got out of the crafts business. With a broad selection of fresh, chilled, frozen and preserved foods, local and international visitors alike would come by for a taste!
We also began to serve freshly baked goods, and all kinds of quality meats, cheeses, and unique sauces and seasonings.
Today, Trading Post is known to be a specialty store that offers farm fresh products, fine gourmet foods, custom meat orders, kitchenware, and much more. Our exceptional customer service has led us to build long-lasting relationships with our customers.
Recently, we have purchased the farm across the road to create Trading Post Farms, a new location that will host our future events.
